Campus Phone Upgrade

On December 29, while campus is closed, OIT will be upgrading the College's phone system to the latest version of Cisco Call Manager. The current functionality of the phones and their feature set will not change. Any customization to the phone menus and line presences that you have will be maintained.

You will also not have to redo any voicemail greetings, configurations, or access pins.

This upgrade includes an upgrade to the voicemail system. After the upgrade, any voicemails that were received prior to December 29 will be available in your Outlook email inbox (as normal). If you only accessed your voicemail from the phone the older voicemails are available by following the below directions.

  1. Call (585) 385-8185 and press * during the auto attendant message.
  2. Enter your extension number followed by the #.
  3. Enter your password followed by the #.

All new voicemails will be delivered to your email and can be accessed via your email or via the messages button on the telephone handset.

The phone system will be offline Monday morning (12/29/2014) starting at 8:00 a.m. and is scheduled to be back online and fully functional by 4:00 p.m. During the time that the phone system is offline all main College numbers will be forwarded to the Security Dispatcher.
